1.  If real estate is LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION then 
     MIB is PRAY, PRAY, PRAY.
 
2.  It seemed more effective to hand deliver the initial 
     information than either snail mail or email.
     
3. We have a fairly large church so 31 men was a realistic    
    goal.  You don't  have to fill each day ot the month.    
    Maybe your church is so large that having 100+ men is    
    possible.
 
4  Overall, annonimity is the goal but at some point, your    
    group may have to become "visible" so that God can work in  
    the hearts of other men in your church to join MIB.  We    
    have tried to make this a "faceless" ministry, i. e. it is about 
    the group and not any particular individual.  You may
    eventually need to have a "face" for logistic reasons.  MIB is 
    a dynamic group going were God leads.
 
5.  Staying in touch can be a problem.  We try to periodically 
     send out an email about something God has placed on our 
     heart.  
      
6.  Pastors, two thoughts on starting an MIB.  Pray that God 
     will raise someone up who would approach you about 
     wanting to pray for the leadership of the church. Or, you
     could approach someone and tell them about MIB and see
     what happens.
 
7.  How to pray? We printed a list of the leaders of our church
     and then let the Spirit lead each of us in the direction to pray
     on our day.  This is not a single issue group but I often find
     myself praying about "the" major issue that men generally
     face.  This issue is the quickest way for the enemy
     to seriously damage a ministry. 
     
     You could could also be in contact with your pastor about    
     specific requests.  (We set-up a fictitious email account to
     communicate with our pastor when necessary.)
 
8.  Make a list of the church leadership to pray for.  Also make a
     list of the men praying so that you can pray for the man on
     "duty" that day.  
     
 9. Some of the wive's have joined in with their husband to fast
     and pray for our leadership.  It gives a new meaning to have 
     a "date" with your wife.
 
10. Some from are group have teamed up with another man to
      use as an accountability partner for MIB.
 
11.  Try to keep accurate records of who you have asked in the
       past but who declined to join.  You don't want someone to
       feel pressured to join if they have already declined in the 
       past.  It is amazing how quickly the past becomes had to
       recall!
